” I started Mabini Lash & Wax with the vision of creating a place of peace and harmony, not just for myself but for every client that walks through my door. I feel I am truly lucky to have a job in an industry where I can see someone’s expression brighten after I take care of them, it fulfills my life. Before I became involved in beauty, before I ever touched makeup, I had this belief that people who spent their time pampering themselves just want to show of for others, which was as wrong as wrong can be! Then, time went by and I started doing my makeup, taking more time to do skincare, and taking more time pampering myself like I had judged people for before. I realized it is so much more than making yourself pretty for others, it is life changing to express yourself more confidently because you took the time to take care of yourself. My judgement also came from the fact that I always had to be productive and it’s only wasting time to take care of yourself i. ways you don’t “need”. Self-care does not just mean doing the bare minimum of sleeping, eating, and drinking water, it also means to enrich your mind with positivity and self love. I know the impact of feeling more confident to express myself and that’s the experience I wish to provide for others.”
