Aftercare

Lash Aftercare
additional notes:
A satin eye mask snags less than a regular night mask. If you toss around too much to sleep on your back, I recommend buying one online.
Avoid excessive heat and steam to prevent the ends of your lash extensions from singeing.
Don’t miss the base of your lashes when washing your lash extensions. Do not use a wash that is not meant for lash extensions.
You can still wear eye makeup like eyeshadow and eyeliner. Just like your skincare, do a double cleanse with a makeup remover and then a lash wash. I sell oil-free makeup remover that breaks down makeup with no worries.
If your lash extensions still look fresh after 2-3 weeks, you must still schedule an appointment! Your lashes (as well as all the hair on your body) grows at different rates, which means you will have lash extensions that have grown out and need to be taken off. Outgrown lash extensions cause discomfort to your natural lashes.

Wax Aftercare
Ensure you follow the guidelines pictured, 24-48 hours post wax appointment. Avoiding friction and heat is very important after wax appointments.
After 48 hours, start exfoliating. Make sure to hydrate with a unscented lotion. Mabini Lash & Wax carries waxing aftercare available to purchase at your appointment. More than 50% of your wax results are due to your aftercare.
Before you come to a wax appointment, make sure you are wearing something loose fitting because tight clothing with cause a uncomfortable experience afterwards. 24-48 hours before your appointment, exfoliate your skin so that the wax can have better performance grabbing the hair and not dead skin buildup.

Brow Aftercare
Follow guidelines for 24-48 hours post treatment. This applies to all brow appointments including brow waxing, brow tinting, and brow lamination.
Cleansers or products with oil should not be used post brow services. Oils are too heavy on the brow skin post wax or post brow lamination. For brow tinting, oils strip the color from your skin.
These guidelines also apply to any face waxing services.
Do not receive harsh treatments such as chemical peels or exfoliating facial treatments 48 hours prior or after to brow or face wax treatments.
